Is just interchangeable "McKaffee". You can't expect more.

Best coffee house in all of Hamburg! Very large and cozy, great ambience, warm colors and friendly service. The tea tastes excellent and the coffee specialties are also good. My absolute favorite cafe !!

They are not exactly the fastest when it comes to preparing the coffee specialties. Be sure to bring some time with you.

Staff too slow and not very experienced in allergen preparation and training. My White Chocolate Mocca came cold ....

The service was good and the bagel was delicious too. My personal recommendation is the Chailatte which was very good

Warm service and great selection. Good seating furniture. A little difficult to find parking space. Nice place to relax.

Balzac Coffee currently seems to employ service staff who are not familiar with the Balzac Coffee range. We wanted a berry nice (berry lemonade) - currently no ingredients available. Then we had a lenom nice (lemon lemonade) - no ingredients available for this either. (Although there is a big sign advertising it) Well, maybe, then we'll have a chocolate shake. Then they searched for 5 minutes in the cash register - unsuccessful - whereupon I suggested that they can first prepare the shake and then cash in. Both service staff did not know how to prepare it. Then we went.

Nice cafe. Fair prices. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service. Come back here.

Coffee chain with known quality and offer. Cozy ambience inside and two tables outside (street side). Only 2 stars because the men's toilet stinks unbearably, doorknob is missing, defective soap dispenser in Corona times ... and restaurant furniture is stored in front of the toilets. Please renovate and install ventilation.

For lack of alternatives on Sunday morning, I went to Balzac to have a coffee, the coffee was fine. But: the store is very, very dirty. There is a dirty rag on the counter, next to it an open cigarette box, next to the croissants that just came out of the oven. The dining room and the benches are littered with crumbs and old serviettes from the previous day. The controls are in the corner on the cell phone instead of sweeping through. Your indifference to this shop and the customers makes you feel it. In the next room there are still old dishes and napkins on the table, also from the day before, since I was the first customer this morning. The hygienic conditions are very questionable. If avoidable, I will definitely go somewhere else in the future!

I drank my most delicious latte there, really great people. But you really have to work on cleanliness. I was about to leave.

Constant decay that the toilet situation is out of the question, one might expect to get over the renovation soon. The front door, a permanent construction site. Now all drinks are only available in plastic cups ... How far should this former Schlecker branch be run down until it is upgraded accordingly for a café 1a location.

Great ambiance and staff. Best place to work (free Wi-Fi), relax, hangout and have coffee.

The Service was simply not up to the task.. the koffee was okay and the cake was very low quality for the high price..

I went almost every morning during my stay in Hamburg. A very good atmosphere and a favorite cafe. Fitness bagels and pretzels are my favorites. Eat with vegan latte!

Nice coffee corner

Very cozy, nice place to chill with friends, awesome muffins and cocoa. Not too pricy! Definitely a must try for everyone who has 5-7€ to spend! I really enjoyed my time there! We've been hours there and had no bad experience. This is my second time here and I really cannot complain. Rating: 9/10.

Super, Balzac halt

This place is terrible! Dirty tables, dirty toilets. Haven't had a worse ginger tea in Hamburg. Staff was rude too. Not a good experience although I've mainly been happy with other Balzac branches throughout the city.

Cafe has an old fashion style: old books, chairs etc. Very close to metro. Has a nice view and summer terrace. For kids there is a small room to play with toys. Service is good.
